The Start Shift screen is where you can enter the details of your shift. This screen is divided into three sections.
Date and Time
The top section is where you can enter the date and time of your shift. You can use the calendar and the clock icons to select the date and time. You can also type in the date and time manually in the format of MM/DD/YYYY and HH:MM.
Venue
The middle section is where you can select the venue for your shift. You can choose from a list of venues that you have previously added to the app. If you want to add a new venue, you can click on the “Add Venue” button. This will take you to another screen where you can enter the name, and zipcode (for weather statistics) of the venue.
Buttons
The bottom section is where you can find three buttons:
- Start: This button will start your shift and take you to the next screen where you can enter your transactions, expenses, and customers.
- Reset Time/Date: This button will reset the date and time of your shift to the current date and time.
